Carbon black is a fine particle composed of carbon elements with a high degree of black quality and porous structure. Improvement of carbon black in ceramic manufacturing

Although Ceramic carbon black is widely used in ceramic manufacturing, it also has some limitations, such as easy aggregation, poor dispersibility, and insufficient affinity with the ceramic matrix. Therefore, in order to better play the advantages of carbon black, it needs to be improved:

  • Surface modification: By modifying the surface of carbon black, introducing specific functional groups or coating a layer of wrapping material, the compatibility of carbon black with the ceramic matrix can be enhanced, the dispersibility can be improved, and the aggregation phenomenon can be reduced, so that it can be more evenly distributed in the ceramic material and give full play to its reinforcing effect.
  • Application of nano carbon black: In recent years, nano carbon black has shown unique advantages due to its large specific surface area and special quantum effect. Introducing nano-carbon black into ceramic materials can more effectively improve the performance of ceramic materials, such as strength, toughness and conductivity, and bring new breakthroughs to ceramic manufacturing.
